What kind of Membership can I have?

Member

You may join as Member if you practise the ministry of spiritual direction in a EUropean country.

Associate Member

If you are living outside Europe and practising the ministry of spiritual direction in your home country, you may join as an Associate Member.

Student Member
If you are training for the ministry of spiritual direction, you can join as a Student member.
Members may be appointed by AGM to be director within the Executive commitee (the EC). This is not an option to associate or student member.

Every Member pays an annual member subscription to support the work of the Spiritual Directors in Europe. This subscription fee for each year is due by the 1st February. Paid Member subscribtion is required to be able to use the right to vote at the AGM.

Member - €70.00 (EUR) Subscription period: 1 year, on: February 1st Renew manually A Full Member is a spiritual director who lives in Europe. They may work in leading retreats or have a one-to-one listening ministry. They have full access to the website content - including proceedings of the Executive Committee and additional spiritual resources. They receive the briefing papers for the Annual Meeting and hold voting rights afor elections and decisions at the AGM.
Members pay subscription fee of €70 2025 onwards.

Associate Member - €35.00 (EUR) Subscription period: 1 year, on: February 1st Renew manually An Associate Member is a spiritual director who lives in a non-European country who wishes to keep in touch and, where possible, attend one of the Annual Pilgrimage Meetings.
Associate Members have access to the public pages of the SD-Europe website and receives the monthly Members' Newsletter.

Student member - €35.00 (EUR) Subscription period: 1 year, on: February 1st Renew manually For those who have training going on.
