From Wednesday evening 24 April | About Berget Berget is a Christian community. They seek to promote spiritual deepening and the unity of the Church. The members of the community come from several different churches and denominations as do their retreat and course leaders. Since its founding in 1962, Berget has been a meeting place offering recreation, knowledge and spiritual strength and renewal to everyone who visits. Their calling is the visible unity, friendship and fellowship within the Church as well as spiritual deepening. With a wide ecumenical aspiration, they offer retreats, Christian meditation, courses, worship services, community and fellowship. Berget consists of two houses; the House of St. David – focusing on retreats, silence, rest, worship services and bible meditations. In the House of Meditation courses are given in in contemplative meditation, as well as spiritual guidance, ethics and our cultural origins/roots. They celebrate the Holy Eucharist every day and pray the liturgy of the hours throughout the the day. They pray, eat, work and share the whole life with their guests as an ecumenical community. |
About our meeting
This is what we know until now:
The meeting starts Wednesday 24th of April in the evening at 7 pm, you can arrive before that.
It will end Monday morning 29th of April.
It takes about 3,5 to 4 hours by car or train to come to Berget from Stockholm.
Traveling can be done from Stockholm airport by train to Rättvik. There you can then be picked up by a minibus.
There is a possibility that a bus will be organised from the airport to Berget.
Prices are not yet known, it will be between 550 and 700 euros, all in.
The accommodation is very basic, it is a retreat centre not a conference centre.

Are you arriving by train or bus? Then you may want a lift from the station in Rättvik to Berget. Unfortunately, taxis are no longer available in Rättvik and Leksand So someone can pick you up at the station. When you register, you can note the arrival time in the field "shuttle" on their website and we will do what we can to arrange it.
